Heya I'm just looking for opinions on this logo I created, and what you guys think of it? Any constructive criticism is much appreciated! I will not buy any logo from anyone, so don't offer that Here's the blog (so you can see how it fits in with the color scheme): www.TalkPrice.net. Here's the actual logo: TalkPriceLogo. Yes, it is a vector logo. If you like my blog, please browse around!
It's pretty decent, but a few things that bothered me is the mundane and generic font, try finding a more creative font to use. www.dafont.com has a good selection. Also, the "TP" inside the logo bit is too bright, there isn't enough contrast between the letters and the background. If you're not concentrated on the logo itself, it becomes fuzzy and doesn't grab your eye and can't really tell what it is. This isn't what you want, you want it to grab the attention of the viewer instantly, and make it easy to remember.
^same. Make the TP beveled and embossed or something along the lines of that. Anything that pulls it away from the metallic background behind it. Basically, it just blends too well. Besides that, looks fine to me.
Looks fairly decent, a little too much packed into a small space. The background is eh, and the text isn't that web 2.0. But overall, 6.5/10
Looks nice. The orange doesn't really match the olive/ gold color in the nav bar or the color used for your headlines. Like others said, make the TP stand out from it's background a bit more but it's nice.
Hmmm...would anyone want to make me a free one to help me out? I'll put you on the Blogroll or something
5/10. better than i wouldve came up with when i first started.. try some gradients and stuff. keep it up
Wow, thanks for your highly thoughtful, extremely original post. Too bad the past 5 people didn't say the exact same thing. Oh well, thanks anyways...
I think the background blue could be brighter. The way the top of the site title fades doesn't work very well. It doesn't stand out enough. The text under the title seems cramped. I would use a smaller font and space out the letters just bit. It will be easier to read that way. Good Luck
i'm not 'see' the meaning of your logo... i mean, it's doesn't fit with the name of your site it self.
