Jscript pop-up alternative

    Currently I use a simple javascript pop-up to open up a new window. The only problem is that IE6+ and firefox users get the pop-up blocked notification.

    The only real reason I use it because I want to open the window to a specific size and show no toolbars.

    Do you get a pop-up blocked?



    My question is... is there any other way to avoid the pop-up blocked notification or different alternative to opening windows to a specific size?
