    What is it needs to be resolved. It works. Your code just doesn't have close </li>s and data.

    My suggestion is you read up on Wordpress jQuery documentation - first off, the $ won't work by default in Wordpress - Wordpress need to keep compatibility to a max, so that it's possible to use different libraries together. Hence, read up on the documentation.
