Site Overview The site presents as a single scene, a photograph of my recording studio as viewed from the doorway. Total image consists of a background image with various images layered on top at specific screen locations. Parallax scrolling is implemented for a 3D effect. Background scrolls only a little bit, middle ground objects scroll further, and foreground objects scroll further still. Top Bar Logo in upper left, and menu bar across the top which reads "HOME SCORES SERVICES LIBRARY ABOUT CONTACT". Clicking each link causes the playing of a short audio file, and an animation which transitions to the chosen scene. HOME - Fade in background image 1, various images fade in and fade out at various locations. SCORES - Fade in background image 2, TV image fades out, "Scores" image fades in to frame YouTube browser. SERVICES - Fade in background image 3. Computer monitor image fades out. "Services" image fades in to frame text material about services offered. LIBRARY - Fade in background image 4. Book image fades out. "Library" image fades in to frame SoundCloud browser. ABOUT - Fade in background image 5. Photograph image fades out. "About" image fades in to frame text and image content. CONTACT - Fade in background image 6. IPhone image fades out, "Contact" image fades in to frame email contact form. Search Functions Core functionality is two API search interfaces, one for Soundcloud and the other for YouTube. Existing SoundCloud account hosts up to 2000 individual pieces of music. Soundcloud search interface filters results by titles, tags, tempo, key, and comments. Search results display as a vertical list of titles and waveforms. Quantity of search results is indicated as "Showing results 1-5 of 17". User can scroll or otherwise step forwards and backwards through search results. By clicking, user chooses a search result, the corresponding music title loads into the SoundCloud player and plays. Existing YouTube account hosts up to 200 video files. YouTube search interface must filter for titles, tags, and comments. Search results display as a list of titles, comments and video thumbnail. Quantity of search results is indicated as "Showing results 1-5 of 17". User can scroll or otherwise step forward and back through results. By clicking, user chooses a search result, the corresponding video title loads into the YouTube player. Other Functionality Contact form is simple email contact. Control Panel [FONT=arial, sans-serif]User back end control panel will allow for the creation of scenes. Control panel will present as a table. The table has pull down menu for title, e.g. "Scene 2 - Scores". Down the left column is a list of all possible images, and allows for creating new rows at the bottom to add more images.
