jQuery conflict with S3Slider

Hi,
I m using s3Slider on one of clients website, so to add strip effect for Table i used this Tutorial : http://docs.jquery.com/Tutorials:Zebra_Striping_Made_Easy

but due to some conflict the Script is not running, even after removing the s3slider script its not working, any help would be appreciated

 

have you tried executing jQuery.noConflict?
