    Hello,

I was wondering what can be done to get the file size of the image below as small as possible. I need it in 600pix widith and compressed so that the quality for an average user still looks OK. Right now it is 488 kB, how low can you make it?

Thank you for your help and advice!

Its free, has many options and settings to meet your need for image compression.

I can also use AcdSee for that. But this is not what I wanted. I need a professional to try and get this down in size as much as possible. If I like the result, I can pay you to do all the images I have.

Using smushit http://www.smushit.com/ysmush.it/ you can get down to 396.33 KB or so. You can crank on this in photoshop real fast but you will soon start losing a bit of clarity.
