Journal of a newbie using clickbank and twitter

I admit I have not looked at cpa promotions yet.

any suggestions on where to start with cpa

think i will blog with clickbank stuff after the twitter clickbank experiment

and if cpa is the way to go with twitter, I will defo look into that

Well it is now the time to possibly stop the experiment

No Sales

No of Followers : 526

No of hop clicks : 3370

No of Vendors those clicked went to : 265

So works out an average of 12.72 hops per vendor

And 1.81 hops per day per vendor

Conclusion so far :

You need at least 1000 followers to start with

You need to get 4x to 8x that by at least the 3rd day on a 7 day experiment

Possibly concentrate on 1 or 2 products and then fill out the rest of the twitter posts with information.



I am going to delete the very low count twitter feeds for now

yeah not too sure about ppc and cpa after the google slap

am reducing the amount of twitter posts at present (changing from posting every 3 hours to 12)

am looking into auto blogging at present as well

 

i tried tweeter just a while ago,it brought me 0 sale.
now im working on other methods like seo/article to get my first sale.keep up the good work and good luck!

 

Make sure you use targeted niche for what you are looking for.

Also use automated programs to post random posts with an added cpa link in about every 10 posts. It is very possible to make good money off twitter. Have been doing it for awhile now

 

get more followers man. it's all in the numbers.

I have 21k followers and make 2-5 sales per day.

I have those followers over 10 account all in different niches.

in which period of time did you get those 21k followers ??

i am using tweetlater, twollo and twellow... but still have to be "carefull" that twitter don't shut you down, for any reason... imagine you got 21k followers and they shut your account down.... and get the account back is not an easy thing...

till now, i have got alot of traffic from twitter, but no sales, so i am trying to get more adsense income with the incoming traffic, rather than direct them direct to the affiliate landing page...

Anyone has great success with Clickbank and Twitter ??

If you are promoting clickbank products then you might want to consider mine in the sig below. A Twitter related product may go over really well on Twitter.

Twittter is a tough egg to crack, I mean it's practically senseless chatter to begin with, a great way to communicate, but not a great medium to advertise products. UNLESS your are a celebrity, and you post a link.

Hey dude, your thread just caught my attention..

I have been using clickbank for two years now and made quite a bit of money. Speaking of my experience twitter does work with clickbank but there are certain ways to do it properly. The hardest thing with twitter + CLICKBANK or any other affiliate/CPA network is to target the right people..

How do you add followers, how do you know who exactly you're targeting and that your followers are even interested in the things you are promoting? I bet you haven't got a clue about who you are really following..

Now if you're looking to target a specific niche/keywords try http://twitter.com/search and add some targeted followers. You need to add at least 2K followers, rise and repeat with brand new accounts. Unfortunately I have been testing 2 Internet Marketing products with twitter, on 6 accounts with 2000 followers each.

The stats were something like this: 30.000 hops across a whole month. No Conversions. (The people I have targeted were interested in the IM niche, however I had no luck with those two products that were over $100)..

I guess there are some smarter ways to earn with twitter and it's really a numbers game. You need to have at least 60K + followers across different account to see constant conversions.
