That sounds like a really interesting strategy. Good luck with that and waiting to read the results of your test. By the way, why don't you give us your twitter account so we can follow you?
ok a quick update since yesterday starting this journal I have had 72 new followers and 2 people stop following me not sure if i am posting too many tweets
any advice on how many promotion tweets should be sent out per 24 hours per subject? should i go from tweets every 3 hours to every 6 hours? just a bit worried I am sending too many tweets
ok checked my clickbank stats 663 hops and no tracking id's even though these were setup on cbfeed checked by vendor and some are at 92 hops, others are at 2 followers before starting this experiment I had 101 I now have 182
does anyone know the reason why twitter hops do not convert that well? ok update have now got 204 followers I am not going to touch it on monday at all.
I have attached a hop count from the 17th july until now it looks as though wine, console and video are getting the most hops. Not sure what to do now? should I try and get more followers interested in those 3 subjects and then blast those 3 rss feeds onto twitter and reduce the others? or leave the experiment running as is, until the 7 days are up and then change tactics? any advice at this stage much appreciated.
ok another update have changed wine from 3 posts per 6 hours to 4 posts to 6 hours am going to try a new feed with phones as the keyword and blast that out 3 posts per 3 hours and leave that running until saturday
well seems as though a bit of a disaster looks as though the wine promotion will probably fail as only 5 active wine vendors and they are at quite low gravity. so i am going to put wine down to 1 post every 12 hours you never know something might happen with it
Well, first of all good luck with that I ran exactly the same experiment a while ago, but until I exceeded the 100k followers milestone I didn't get any sale. True, it doesn't have to go the same for everyone and you might hit a random sale even with those 100 something followers, but imagine that it is like you are talking to the same old 100 something people everyday, it is not like you run 100 UV daily, they are just the same. Hence posting your ad more then a couple of times becomes useless. IMO, if you wanna crack this one out, you either have to come up with some kick ass conversations that will make people follow you like a preacher, or get some tool to automate your work. Also, you should advertise your tw. nickname around, in case you didn't do it already.
Let me give some advice. I don't recommend promoting clickbank using twitter but if you insist, try to find a product that is less than $20. If not, just set up a sales page and use the $7 formula to sell it. Use twitter to drive traffic. Make sure your twitter is super targeted.
Nice journal bro, but what you are trying to do is going to be very hard unless you know what you are doing and got the skills. You should checkout some of the top ballers on twitter and try more of their approach to making sales on twitter. Throwing CB links into a message isn't going to make many sales or any at all. At least from my experience. good luck!
thanks all for the advice as this is an experiment and will finish on saturday I am going to leave it going for now. getting approx 80 new followers a day and people are clicking on the ads, as my hop count is still going up no conversions yet though
i am also getting followers who are also trying to sell/promote stuff some of them look as though they are doing exactly what i am doing, but they seem to send out 10 x the amount of tweets that i do
