How's it going in the Digital Point community! I figured I'd make an introduction anyways I've never really been into all of this blogging and forum stuff but it actually seems very fun! I'm Joshua Stirk, I figured I'd make my presence known in 'The Lounge'. Seems like a great place to share interests and meet new people that are like-minded anyways . Since I have no idea where I'm going with this I'll just give a quick note on myself. I'm 21, recently finished my high-school equivalency after I had dropped out of high school in the previous years... Who doesn't nowadays? Well at least everyone I know, dam bad influences lol! I worked my ass off all summer like a lot of people, construction 60 hours a week 10.25$ an hour just getting by and unable to fix the vehicle :/. Honestly though, is that life? Slaving yourself and making change? Especially when politicians sit at a desk and receive a hefty pay-check for saying useless crap? Not my life. Well hey, a lot of people are into network marketing and it seems like a great place to be, sitting at home blogging, organizing email lists and creating social media pages while making random commissions from companies your affiliating with. I thought I'd join the club. Personally I thought I might be able to do it, I felt creative enough, and so fed up with basic life that I would put in the effort needed to possibly get my foot in the door. I was sick of maybe seeing myself stuck in the same loop month after month and year after year, I could not handle that stress for much longer. I sold my car for cheap, moved back in with my Mom and am still just making it by. At least I can help her out and be with my family, and get fed my chef of a step dad, beats rice lol. Now here, I found myself looking online for ways to make money, well really it found me. Its not all about making money to me though, its about being free, and still being able to live in this greed based money revolving planet that we live on. I want to be able to help out others, after seeing the insane income others were making, who could pass that opportunity up? I've tried many other ways, starting small landscaping companies, selling Diablo 3 items... Kind-of a funny story lol... I've bought and sold off Kijiji, and collected scrap metal, all still providing no real benefits at all and just stress among wasted time. What happen to the American Dream, even though I'm Canadian. Ultimately I joined this social networking world to maybe open my opportunities and meet others that have similar interests. After giving up all my friends and basically everything I had because of the destructive downfall that was enveloping me I found myself looking for a new beginning. Being with my family, helping those through volunteering, to an extent of my ability, and most important, for my happiness and wellbeing. This must be it, right? The break I've been waiting for, the one that finally gets me somewhere? Well, if it isn't that's what life is for! Figuring out what will! Thanks for reading, I appreciate your support and feedback! Not to mention if you feel where I'm coming from, feel free to message me I'm a cool guy I guess. Take it easy, peace and love, and live it up! Every idea needs to be properly analyzed. Once you can feel the potential within it, action is the only step to success. - Joshua Stirk
Welcome! I'm kinda new here too. The best advice I can give you is that it takes a lot of work to make real money. I'm still just barely paying my bills most months after a few years, but it's better than NOT paying my bills! Don't give up! I have wanted to quit many times, but stuck with it, and I'm glad I did. This is a great place to learn.
