    If you have not heard about Joost, it is from the same people that brought you Kazaa and Skype. It is suppose to change the way you watch TV. You can read more about it at joost.com . One of the great things about Joost is that it will have a lot of user customizable plugins because it is based on the same platform as Firefox. A quote on the plugins:

    Originally, I intended to have the site be a place where you can download different plugins, rate them, and read reviews about them but I don't have time to update the site the way I want.

    • title tag mod so it is SE friendly
    • great domain name for what will be a popular search phrase "joost plugins"
    • program will not be out of beta for a couple more months, giving you time to develop the site
