    Hey everyone!

I am trying to gather a little information about the users of the joomla CMS, and I was wondering if those of you who use it could answer the following question as honestly as possible:

If you are using Joomla, or wish to use Joomla, what component would you lost likely be looking for that is not currently offered by the extensions archive or by a third party?

I appreciate your honesty and feedback ... I am a developer, and I am trying to figure out how I could best assist the ever growing Joomla community.

    Thank you!

Hi, I'm a Joomla Designer, and I'd really like to have a script for social networking, I don't really like the way CB works

    Hi

Ok firstly even though ive looked through many extensions so far ive not checked everything yet, but i wonder if it would be possible for phpld to be intergrated into/with Joomla http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/ i dont know if the term for this is to wrap? or if it would be done in some other way, and ive not looked at this in detail yet but id be happy to hear or any possibilities with this.

The reason im asking is it looks like you could have the best of both worlds, phpld is a good directory script, and Joomla kinda turns me on with all its available extensions. :)

I haven't used Joomla yet but will be using it.

    Thanks Pipes!

I know that joomla has an extension called "mosets tree", I think that is correct ... however ... it is a bit pricey. I have also been looking for a quality directory script and I don't want to break my bank on doing it ... this may be a good choice for me to develop along with the social network that nits requested ... I am marking both down on my list.

    Thank you for the feedback!

Thanks for any consideration RNK Concepts, im not sure if your already aware but the phpld community is quite large too, not to say they would all want to do something with Joomla, but handy all the same, to have a community of that size.

Please keep us updated on anything that you decide on.

May not be on your list but a proper forum is what Joomla needs the most. Yes there are bridges out there and there is the fireboard, but all of the current solutions have some issues.
