Leave Joomla and come over to http://Drupal.org/. Wonders await you. Just kidding, I don't use Joomla, but Joomla sites do very well and the community is large.
lol well you have me curious anyway so I'm going to go and check out the site. Thanks for your response. Kit
Joomla is like any other site , it's just a CMS , that not the important part ... The important is the site it self , content , popularity , etc ..
Sure, but various web design software, CMs have different uses for different people and was wondering how Joomla fit into selling websites as businesses for example, with a s/cart extension.
Well, since you'll figure this out yourself shortly after starting learning a CMS, you'll see how important is to be given a list of extension options, a responsive community you could always ask for help, and a developer to work with you on your special needs when you can afford to go a step ahead and customize your site. Joomla can be a good companion for your website building needs.
I use joomla for a big community page. I really love it. I use Drupal aswell for smaller projects but joomla has amazing possibilites. Con is the perfomance. If your community is big you should host it at least on a dedicated server.
