    HI -
I just got a ? From a potential SEO client. I know nothing of either Joomla nor LAMP.
From the perspective of doing SEO, is one better than the other? Do the search engine spiders read then just as well and can they have all the meta data, no follow links, etc that one wants for good onpage SEO?

I personally only use Wordpress, but these are not my sights and they are asking which platform (I guess that you'd call both of these platforms) to keep, from an SEO perspective.

Well there are no options in this thread. You've only stated Joomla. LAMP is nothing but software that will run Joomla. Hope you understand. Now yes LAMP will be good as you can re-write the URLs using Apache (SEF URLs).

BTW I know you said WP is not an option, but believe me WP is far better than Joomla when it comes down to SEO.

LAMP has nothing to do with WP, Joomla or anything else.

LAMP is not a CMS or similar. Next time I would use Google before asking such questions.
