Hey all, I know it is usually the other way around, but does anyone know of a good Joomla to Wordpress content converter.
its difficult because it depends on how your joomla site is made ( categories , tags , diff modules etc ) i recently converted a joomla site to wordpresss and i can say it requires manual work more too if you require to retain permlink , tags , posts names you can try with this http://solariz.de/tool-box/joomla/konverter-joomla-wordpress-joomla2wp-php-script-content.htm
thanks for the reply Chandan, Yeah I figured it would take mannual work to do it… it really sucks cause I changed my site to Joomla recently and I was so used to Wordpress that I stopped posting because of it…. My site is www.miamisocialguide.com we had to change it to a /index for the Joomla change and now that has no PR but the .com does….it is a huge mess t say the least…..any advice is appreciated…
I'm not good at conversions and I've never tried it .... But I can create a joomla site quite similar to the one you are having currently..
