I have made many websites using programs like Dreamweaver & Photoshop in the past. However, I don't know how to make a website writing html. I have always used a web design program. I want to use joomla in the creation of my next site. However, I don't know how to "program" a template. So basically I want to buy a template. First, has anyone made a Joomla template? If so, how long would it take for a beginner to make a template? Also, where is a good place to buy templates for Joomla? Thanks
Hi, with joomla template I think they are mainly consist of css, php and just basic code but I don't have a clue either and never will pobably. I know there are a few people here who can make one for you. Someone made me one for my site, Cute Pets. To buy them just search for joomla templates and you will find some, there are some free ones out there too.
im in the same boat as well! i just tried joomla out a few days ago! iv only played with one other cms and they both have their +/- tho i havent used em much to say anything! i need a more custom look! dont want to use it till i understand it better I'm just learning a lil ccs and js but have no clue on php!
