joomla template not unpacking via extraction right

    hello i found a great template and downloaded the file but something wrong happens when i goto ftp it up. i keep clicking on the thingy and it either gives me the directory to go inside the folder or all the files series. But not the "folder" i usually upload.

    Make sure that your file is in .zip format and then try installing the template from joomla admin panel.

    Perhaps you have downloaded some kind of virus. Please scan your file properly and firstly try to unzip on you localhost and then give it a try on the remote server.

    Apart from installing the zip file for the template from the admin panel, you can unzip the file on your local computer then upload the folder for the template to the templates directory on the server. You can then click on Extensions, Template Manager to activate the template

    Where is the template? So I can tested? I mean I am not trying to get your template I develop my own Joomla templates, I am just trying to help. Definitely if you are uploading something and does not appears inside the folder, you are uploading in a wrong way.

    Why don't you use the Joomla Installer Section??
