I wanted to produce a few website for my cleaning company for diffrent location each to have diffrent content and local keywords to that location Was just wondering if I should change the overall look of the pages or keep them all the same as they will have diffrent content. Then I was thinking about the site maps for the site, i know very little about this and was wondering how many site maps there should be. Thanks Can Joomla automatically produce site map for new page that are added
Joomla works just fine for SEO. Be consistent in the way your site works. I prefer top down navigation... easy to use and you don't have to worry about the few people using low resolution screens as the navigation is still there. I can recommend you visit JoomlaShack. Really nice looking well constructed templates. They are my first choice for Joomla Templates. My only complaint with Joomla is the user comments is poor. The data management is excellent. For most of my sites however I am using WordPress with a CMS template.
Joomla is the best CMS I have ever, it's like you have Transformer car it can transform any way you want
The "overall look" and content are separated with Joomla. Your template controls the presentation and Joomla controls the content. Changing the look will not change the content - what is seen by a search engine robot. Search engine robots do not like large flash files so much, but they may be getting to the place where they are indexing those files also for relevant content. If you are making sites with Joomla or with whatever, you will automatically be changing the content to reflect what your visitors are searching for. If for Las Vegas, for Las Vegas. If for Portland, for Portland, etc. So... your content will not be duplicate. You just need one sitemap per website and you can get a plugin to do this automatically for Joomla.
