Hello, does anybody knwos a Joomla extension that it will be like WordPress I have noticed that my wordpress sites are crawled faster in search engines and also to show url like wordpress without the article ID and the index.php file thank you
The only way to get rid of the article IDs and index.php in the URL on joomla is to use a SEF URL component like Artio JoomSEF, 404SEF, or something similar. Or you can just use the built in Joomla SEF tool if you are running Joomla 2.5 or higher. You should also consider adding a sitemap to your installation using one of the freebie sitemap components out there as well. Then submit that sitemap URL to Google Webmaster Tools and you should be in business.
JoomSEF is a good and handy plugin for Joomla which would help you for the problem at hand. It will perform URL generation, sitemap submission, redirections, meta data and other stuff for you.
