    Hello all!

I am in the need of a registration form for my joomla site. I am not a pro at joomla by any means so the instructions would have to be step-by-step.

I am assuming this would have to have a new database, but joomla could probably handle this.

I will also need a place to pay by credit card at the end of the registration and would like information on this as well.

    Your help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

To install an extension you simply log into backend of your domain and go to the installer via your horizontal menu. You upload a package that suits your site best. Joomla has a built in registration form that I think you could find a "subscription" open-source extension which is what it sounds like what you need... Otherwise virtuemart are the biggest known and most extensive of extensions for running a shop or purchase orders... If you need something more simple please review a subscription extension that best suits your site via extensions.joomla.org

Joomla has it's inbuilt registration form but if you need smth more flexible and extensive check Mighty Registration component. It is easy and have comprehensive documentation.

As for payments, it is not quite clear what users are paying for. For registration? membership? or you want to sell some products? So depending on that you have to choose the extension.

This needs to be a registration form to sign up for a seminar. So I guess we will need the basics.

It could be something like this along with checkout. Pay with paypal but it should be clear that you don't need paypal, but a credit card to pay via paypal..

using our components you can create registration form with Mighty Registration, then rename the button register to "next" for example, after registration is complete, the next step would be redirect to the page created by Mighty Invoice where user can pay the price. The advantage is that user does not need to confirm registration and is logged in automatically. The Invoice is good if you have just one payment plan and users have no options to choose.
