Joomla Module Positioning

Ok I installed some extensions in my Joomla Installation. Now can anyone tell me how to position modules correctly. My page all gets fussed up when I try to publish them.

 

Do you have the url ? What is your joomla version, template and extensions, it's hard to tell if you don't give the details.
To put the module position correctly, you can learn at help.joomla.org

 

You should check the html for the template. If you know html fairly well you can work out the positions for the template.

 

go to hxxp://www.yoursite.com/index.php?tp=1 and you will see all available theme module positions

at admin panel go to extensions-->module manager and you can choose for every module in which position you want to publish it

Better read the tutorial for using rocket theme template in their site because they make some custom code for the template.

 

For Joomla module positioning; there are 2 ways below:-
1. go to module manager then set ordering 1, 2, 3, etc.
2. set positioning inside template by changing "module php include tag" position to where you would like it to be display.
