Joomla link help

    When you click read more on the news it is displayed as 'component/content/article/35-news/62-welcometotcscomputing' how can I change it to 'news/welcometotcscomputing'

    Log in to the backend. Then select Global Configuration. On the right side of the screen you see SEO Settings. You need to select the options there. You can also use a plug in.

    Sef404 plugin will allow you to create/rename links to what you want and auto 301 redirect the previous link... So if that other link has already be indexed... That plugin might be the way to go
