    Hello all,
I have installed the component Artio JoomSEF, but having some problems =[
I updated the .htaccess file like in the instructions, and visited the joomla homepage, and it was not found. So I commented out the "FollowSymLinks" line, and it fixed that problem, and I was able to access the homepage. However, when I click on a new article, I can see it rewrites the URL into a SEF url, but the page comes up as not found.
Any ideas what I have done wrong?
    Thanks in advance!

yea, I have already enabled SEF in my system.
JoomSEF actually puts keywords into the URL, rather than just making it look cleaner.

Did you uncomment the section at the bottom of .htaccess for the 3rd party components? The file has two sections, both commented out: one you uncomment for the 'core' SEF, the other you uncomment for 3rd party components.

Okay, well I have up on this, as even the .htaccess editing failed. So, i went with openSEF, and it works a treat.
The only problem I am having is with the website search function. When I do a search, is just sends back to the home page.
    Any ideas brainboxes?
