Hi to all at this forum!

Being new here I hope I'm in the right forum section :)

Well I got a problem. And I need it solution, desperately. I searched dozens of forums but no one seems to have any clue about this.

Now what I want to do is a little joomla hack just to meet my client's requirements.

If anyone out there has used joomla probably already knows about their content items structuring: content items are split into 'intro text' and 'main text' connected together with a 'Read More..' link.

So the thing is my client wants some of his content items to open in a new page (new browser window with navigation, also known '_blank' with links) and joomla doesn't provide any way to do this.

Now I was thinking that that would be possible to achieve with some javascript. All that it has to be done I think is reference the link element (let's say '.readon' class) and write some simple function for these links to open in a new window.

I'm new to javascript and I don't know if this is possible, but I'm sure someone out there knows that.

I would really appreciate some help on this.

    Thanks in advance!
