Joomla instal

    How long does it take to download and install Joomla, I have asked my web guy to download and install so I can use it it.

    The dowload is the straight out of the box no thrills vanila flavour.

    Have reread my question which should read, how many minutes or hours work should it take to download and install joomla for a profesional web developer

    I can do it in less than an hour. However you have to make sure everything is in place on the Hosting Side of things before you begin.

    with fantastico its 5 mins work , but installing all mods and making it work in a unit might take two three hours

    I followed the guides that are downloadable on joomla.org. It took me 2 hours to have my first site work.

    if everything is ok(prequisties are installed) with the server then i can install joomla in 10mins

    Ok I now have Joomla.

    What I need is someone to install a template so i can use it and add pages as and when.
