Joomla Images Rename

    Hi,

    When I insert/upload an image in an Joomla article it gets renamed by the name something like 1d73e13563b8be946c0f00bab252d7ea_L.jpg automatically, I need the name to be my-keyword.jpg, how can I do the same?

    You must be using a component or plugin that is optimizing your images as they are uploaded. What are you using for an editor? JCE, FCK, or the default editors? If that is not the source of the problem look closely at your active plugins and see if you have any special compression or caching plugins running. Try turning them off for a while and see if it still renames your files when you upload.

    Perhaps your template framwork is doing so.. or try to change the editor to JCE, FCK etc as above said.
