Hi, It's simple to add a menu link in Joomla. In the administration, click on "menu" then choose where you want to put you link (let's say "mainmenu"), so click on "mainmenu". In the menu manager page click on "new" then check the menu item you want. If you want to link to a content, check the "Link - Content Item" then click on next. In the "Add Menu Item" page choose a name for your link and click on the content you want to link to. It's the same thing for the external link but instead of choosing "Link - Content Item" choose "Link - Url" in the "New Menu Item" page. Hope it's clear and helpfull.
