    Could someone please tell me how do I set default registration group is authour? Or which mod/com do you recommended? :confused:

    Hi,
    you can set your editor to be used by registred user, that way all registred can be authors.

    Use also the component "JA Submit" from http://www.joomlart.com/.

    In the configuration of Ja Submit you can set which group of user can be automatically auto approved . if you set it to member, all your members will be allowed to submit content and automatically approved.

    you must patch the files under /components/com_registration/.

    you can use community builder as an alternative
