Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has any opinions or advice on adding a blog to my joomla website.Should I add something from : menu item type-internal link-articles...there are blog options here or is there a good plugin for doing it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Joomla has a blog setting when you upload it to your host. Access the main menu and see the setting on the default menu. It is set to "blog" by Joomla. Not many people know that Joomla can be used as a blog it seems.
When you are adding menu , There is an option, how you wan to show your your article, in this section you can select to show your article as a section blog or category blog.
If you want to have a real blog then install Wordpress in a subfolder like /blog and customize it to look like the rest of your site. I do it all the time with Joomla.
