Joomla Forums script?

Hey, I want to integrate a forum to work with my installation of Joomla, for my site iWannaPlay.org.

I am using a theme called Populus from Rockettheme.

I have tried Joomlaboard, but all it does is give me errors with my site. Fireboard also doesn't work, because it has broken CSS and many bugs. I have posted on the Fireboard support forum, with no luck, and the Joomlaboard site is down.

I am thinking of integrating PHPBB with my site, but I would have to have it work with my current theme and in a frame, which it really doesn't.

    Any ideas?

Try SMF, I think the team at Rockettheme use this for their support forum.

    Hello,

    Fireboard is better than joomlaboard!

You can try Smf integration, it is good choice I think!

    Good luck

I don't want people to be suggesting Fireboard to me, as I already said that it's numerous bugs and Broken CSS is an issue.

How much would it probably cost for me to get someone to make me a version of it that actually works?

Hi there, I went and have a look at populus template at demo.rockettheme.com and the demo is installed with fireboard and it looks ok to me.. so I suppose maybe it is because of your Joomla! version or something.. since at that demo if you were to look for fireboard installation, the implementation is slightly different between J! 1.0 & J! 1.5 so I suppose there must be a reason to it..

    I have J.1.1 or something.
Fireboard doesn't work with the Font sizes (Posted many times on there forums,) and the Topic Icon's aren't changeable, so once you delete the smileys, you're screwed.

JoomlaBoard doesn't install properly on my site. I always get errors, and you can't see the forum itself.

I don't know about JoomlaBoard, But I use Fireboard and I really wish I would have paid for vBulletin. Fireboard has a lot of SEO problems which will make you lose out on alot of search engine traffic.

SMF is better than Fireboard. Use SMF and then use the bridge to integrate it into your Joomla site.

Does the bridge make it fit in with my theme?
