    Yeah, I'm with wordpress, too. It's great project and can be used not only for blogs, because of every kind of website. It's more secure, too.

    With the thesis theme in WordPress you can very easily get rid of date stamps on pages. BUT do realize that readers like to know when something was written.

    Since Wordpress is easier than Joomla, if you're only thinking about content building, go with WordPress. Joomla doesn't have anything to add till you get to weird and uncommon uses.

    Has the capabilities to do everything you'd ever want from a website and more...

    Has a ton of extensions to use and keeps getting better! And as someone else mentioned if set up correctly seo is very good without needing any other plug-ins.

    another vote for Joomla. Iam using it for small business sites, and one larger site with my own modules included with jumi or redesigning the joomla code =)
