Joomla! Community Board use phpBB3

    After several years using SMF, the official Joomla! site relaunch the Joomla! Community Board with phpBB3.

    What do you think about this ?

    I think it looks alright. I actually think I preferred it when they were using SMF, it was pretty much the only SMF forum I actually liked and didn't mind looking round it. The phpBB forum they have now looks too plain to me.

    I agree. I liked their old forum much better. Although I'm slightly biased to SMF since that's what my site uses. :)

    I agree with oth of you, the old forum much better than the new forum. IMHO joomla.org change to phpBB3 because the discontinued SMF Bridge for Joomla! on July 2007 based on the GPL-licensed issue.
