Joomla Comment/Feedback Apps are boring, any recommendations?

I have a Joomla site and wanted to add a Comment/Feedback App to go along with the my article write-ups so people can post their comments.

However, I checked out the available comment extentions from the Joomla site and almost all of them are as boring as a door knob. And there are very limited ones to choose from.

What I wanted was similar to JomComment, but I have read that JomComment has a serious bug that balloons your webhost cache to some gigantic number until you run out of disk space. What do you guys use on your Joomla sites?

I agree with you. I took way too much time looking at them all then ponied up and bought

    http://jxtended.com/products/comments.html

I'm using it here if you would like to see it in action http://www.internetmarketingiq.com/

I haven't been using it long but it seems to be okay. And the nice thing is the license lets you use it on more than one site.

Joomla is very weak in commenting, and should address this by incorporating it into the source code like they do with wordpress. But for now this is the best one I could find as I got tired of fighting the free stuff.

It's has pretty good comment moderation and catches the spam. I delete a lot of viagra crap from the que.
