I know that make a canonical redirection in my site is good for SEO but if I make this in my .htaccess, joomla searcher don't work, when you search in joomla site this don't show any results, normally go to index site. This happens with all my joomla sites.
Someone give me some info about this issue? Is a bug?

    Thanks.

I usually use WordPress - and like how its easily noticed by google. For those that have used both - have you noticed a difference with google not ranking Joomla pages as easily?

That very much depends on what you do with it. I run a Joomla! site that ranks exceptionally well, even for some pretty competitive terms. Google spiders the site regularly and posts can be listed & ranked with 10 minutes of publication, so as an SEO guy, I'm very happy with my Joomla! set-up.

Ditto, plus the Joomla structure helped me get Sitelinks and links to longtailed URLs

    Hi

I'd recommend that you use sh404sef for joomla seo. I've been using it for around 3 years now and am very happy.

PS: my joomla site ranks very well.
