Joomla and e-commerce

    Joomla is great to use - if your after a CMS and your site is more content based - like forums, articles etc...

    if your just after ecom and a shopping cart - try something else... prestashop or magento are quite good

    If you want to use ecommerce for Joomla, you basically have two options IMO
    1 - Virtuemart (free and buggy) - http://virtuemart.net/
    2 - jStore PRO (on the lines of magento but for joomla - commercial though) - http://www.ijoobi.com/
