What's the best method for adding an article section on this site run through Joomla?

    www.printmypics.net

It's not necessary but I'm having trouble editing the horizontal menu in the template. I'd like to be able to use the Joomla Static Content Manager or Content By Section to easily add new articles as the come in. Thanks.

Are you asking how to add an article section on a joomla powered website cause there's only one way to add a section
    - by following the administrator interface called Content Manager

    - Add a new Section
    - Add a new Category to this Section
    - Start adding Content Items
    - Create a menu link either to the whole section or to this particular category

    That's it :)

I created a section and category called "Articles" which now appears in the main menu - www.printmypics.net

I've unpublished them and even changed the name but it remains listed in the main menu! Any ideas? I've literally looked through every section, category and menu item and there is nothing called "Articles." I appreciate anyone's thoughts on this. Thanks.

You need to delete the menu item from the Menu Manager. Remember that menu names, and category names are managed separately, and if you change one, it will not update the other part.

It's not listed in the Menu Manager/Main Menu. I've looked about 10 times because I can't believe my eyes. I think it must be a database error or something.

You got me curious, if you drop me a PM with access details to your joomla admin and possibly phpmyadmin access, I'll take a quick look into it for you.
