Joomla 1.5 >>> Registered users?

I have the login box for users who are registered to login which works.

(i created the users in the admin panel.)

but underneath that login box is a link called: Create an account.

I click it and i get the 404 error. so im guessing i must enable it.. how do i do that?.

I think you will have to give us a little more information.
Can you provide a link so we can have a look? The other thing is, are you using an Search Engine Optimisation components?
If you are, this can cause problems with certain links if not configured properly.

it was because i had the SEO settings enabled apparently..

how would i get it to work with them enabled?

It could be that you havent configured the SEO settings correctly.

What is in your .htaccess file? You may have the wrong commands in there!

 

mate i dont have a clue lol... answer on the other thread and ill give it a go.

 

If you have this problem after enabling the SEF URLS in Joomla. Login to your main directory, under Joomla, and change the htaccess file to .htaccess

Then go back to admin pages under Joomla, and enable the SEF urls.
