guys is the beta version of Joomla 1.5 worth migrating to right now? or should we wait till a stable release comes along?
at Joomla.org recommends not to use 1.5 for some commercial project. i have tested it for the sake of testing. May be there are some security issues or bugs in it as they don't recommend to use it!
I would definitely wait for the full release. It's going to be absolutely awesome once it's out (I've been using it a fair bit while developing a plugin for it) but yeah, wait. There are hardly any plugins / extensions that have been updated for 1.5 yet and the 'legacy code' plugin which is supposed to have the 1.0.x extensions still work is a little buggy. So you won't necessarily be able to use all your current extensions yet. So just wait a little longer... although I would definitely recommend trying it on your local PC, especially if you're a plugin developer!
I think it's worth it to start developing on it, just so you don't have much 'shock' when it fully switches over... but don't drop everything and use it yet, because of inherent security / stability concerns. So, use it to know how to use it, but don't produce / use anything you make with it.
joomla 1.5 beta 2 is not for the production or live site. it can be used for experimental aims you have to wait until the stable version
