I am planning on releasing an Ebook in the coming days and I had a deal in place for an individual to promote the product on a few forums. However, the deal fell through as he was not happy with the cut that was offered. If anyone has interest in copy and pasting my sales copy into approved forum space for a 30 % cut of all sales, the product I'm offering, and reselling rights let me know.
Is 30 percent really that bad of an offer? I'll bump it to 40 if there is anyone interested. I'm available for skype chat or any other chat service to go through the process and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Welcome to digitalpoint. I think the issue here is that most members are going to see when you registered and how many posts you have, and without a full explanation of everything, proof, examples and more information about you people are going to pass on by to the next thread. Especially considering what you're posting here, really belongs in the services section under partnerships, you're looking for somebody to partner with on your ebook project. That is considered a sales thread, and technically you aren't allowed to post one here yet, read the rules and FAQ. I would suggest you go do some reading here, some posting, and apologize to help reduce the likelihood of your first infraction so quickly. Have you ever written an ebook before or otherwise been published in any way? Have any websites? Sold or created any other products before? references? examples? portfolio? Best of luck to you, hope this helps you get back onto the right foot here.
Thank you very much for the advice. I apologize if I got off on the wrong foot and came across in a spammy/scammish manner. I have sold ebooks in the past that I have created through traditional avenues (squeeze pages, Cb, ppc). I wanted to go the route of selling on forums that allow such activity. However, since this is not the proper location for such discussion and I do not currently have enough posts or time here to engage in that type of business I will refrain from speaking about it until the appropriate time. When that time comes I will do it in the manner you outline. Once again, my apologies. I am not looking to pull a fast one on anyone.
I'm afraid I'm going to run into the issue of being "too new" here as well, but within the next couple of months my partner and I are planning on launching our fitness affiliate program, but it's a very specific niche and local to the DC area - do you guys have any suggestions where we can look for a joint venture partner for something that local and defined?
