The past days I've been thinking about starting a joint venture with 2 close friends instead of strangers on the internet. Some people told me though, that you should never start things like that with good friends, it might end up bad. Have you ever started a business online with friends? How did it turn out? Do you know more about this subject? Thanks in advance for all information on this subject
While there is no general rule, but statistically, the relations that were once close get sour after the start of the joint venture etc. So if the friendship matters more to you probably it is not a good idea to start with a friend. I must say that the rule can not be generalised
Only start things I won’t get mad if it all turns out bad. Friends can last forever but business ventures come and go.
I try and keep business and friendship separate. I have seen too many others lose friendships by mixing the two.
Thanks for the words. We're going to keep a one-moneymaking-day together by just helping eachother but also having fun together. But we're not planning on starting a big project together neither are we going to keep doing those days. It's just a one-time test to make as much money as possible (with MSN OFF and without browsing a million forums and waste time by posting on tons of posts ). It should hopefully be fine.
