Joining the phpLD crowd - so much work!

So I bought my first copy of phpLD script and am installing a directory on a subdomain to an established site.

Woah! I did not imagine it would be so much work to create all the categories, descriptions, meta tags, etc. I knew i would have to do it, been planning it in the back of my mind for some time. But now that I've actually started....

It's going to take me days to set it up. Decide on category titles, appropriate sub-cats, etc...

Then i have to figure out how to tweak the templates to match the look of my site.

Should be interesting once i get it running.

Goodluck man, I had 2 directories before starting this new Big project. I'm guessing it's gonna take me about 2 months or so maybe a little less before I go live.

Mine is going to be considerably smaller.

Anon, do you really think there is that much value in having that many sub-cats and sub-sub cats, sub-sub-sub cats? Many of them will, literally, never have a site submitted to them.

I can guarantee it took less time to do that, than it has taken (and still waiting for it to be done) for you to upgrade my listings!

    hahaha

If you need some help with something related to PHPLD, don't hesitate and ask in the forums :) or in phpld forums :p
