Good Afternoon all, So Im new to affiliate marketing and have been doing a lot of reading/research on the forums and around the web. You guys are a great bunch and very informative but I've run into a snag that I hope some of you can help with: Ok, once joining an affiliate program and finding a product that you feel good about, I keep feeling like there's a gap in the process from what I've read. By this I mean, everything I read tends to state, I just started with a great product and my sales are increasing. My traffic is all organic, or PPC, etc etc. My question is, once you pick the product, am I just creating a landing page and then that landing page points to my affiliates buy page? Or do I have to create a full featured blog with tons of content for every affiliate product I want to promote? This is the part Im unclear on, and the way that it seems some of you find a product and start promoting it and making sales etc in lighting fast time.....it's obvious to me that I'm missing something. I read another members post designed for newbies but I'm still a little unclear. So if a few of you could be so kind as to chime in and talk me through this part of the process it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for all your guidance, Sophist
Hello, i got your point. I'm new same as you. Actually, its depend on affiliate and advertiser, how many information advertiser have kept on affiliate site for publisher like you and me. I don't have checked all affiliates, but i did visit most popular and big networks like CJ,ShareSale,Click2Sell,Paydotcom and all have near about same method,they can provide you affiliate links to products, or in some case ( depends from advertiser) banners and some pictures too. Now to your point, you have to advertise product on your page, every affiliate site give you link direct to advertiser product specified, so just visit their website, copy paste important information and past into your product advertising page, include your affiliate links within pictures and texts.
