Joined SitePoint...Impressions

I've joined SitePoint at last, heard many things about it. I can say they're not very friendly there And the moderators are a little bit Hehe, I guess I allready got too much in DP. Wake up Rezo and go to the real cruel world

 

I use SP often for tutorials and just gathering knowledge from their quality articles.

What benefit is there from being a member? Is there a forum or something? Tools?

 

I joined SP first before coming to DP, I find that SP is going too commercial.. the marketplace etc..

I prefer DP's marketplace

 

No benefits except getting insulted. I posted about my servers in the right section ( I have only 10 posts there) and they told I'm a spammer, when I asked why, didn't get any answers. I read their guidelines, didn't do anything prohibited

Ye. I was banned on Namepros dunno why, had 6 posts didn't do anything just watched forums. Never received an email with reasons or something. Why does NamePros usually ban people?

 

I am a member at SitePoint.

I was a member there first, before joining here.

I have to say, I have no problems with SitePoint whatsoever.

The forums are great, their newsletters are informative and their books are brilliant.

Obviosuly, they are paying me handsomely to say this .

I find both forums (DP and SP) to be high quality places.

 

Same here. SP is overmoderated.

 

Though I see there are kind moderators and people there as well.
