There's a Jonny Cash rememberence concert on TV right now to help promote the new movie I Walk the Line.

Are there any Johnny Cash fans here?

    lol. no.

Johnny Cash as in iconic country music Johnny Cash.

When I was little I used to ride small country dirt roads with my grandfather as he'd tell me stories and Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Hank Williams music played on the radio.

Johnny Cash is one of my favorites.

When I was little I would listen to the Folsom Prison albulm over-and-over for hours.

I wonder if that new movie about him is going to be any good.

I'm not sure, but I've been wanting to see it for months now.

I think it will be pretty good. Joaquin Phoenix took the role really seriously. Reese Witherspoon said he was pretty much a dick because she wasn't getting the singing down at first, but then she really clicked with him.

He seems like a good actor. And I heard he prepared for the role for five years or so.

Joaquin Phoenix always looks coked out of his mind lately so maybe he took it REALLY SERIOUSLY!

I don't listen to any country music except for the old stuff. I can't stand anything that's made by the new people.

Yeah Hank Williams (jr and sr) are good, too. All of those guys lived hard partying, don't give a f*ck lives.

Yeah Hank Williams Jr...is an icon...use to listen to his songs over and over again--when my mother-in-law was alive. I had the pleasure of meeting Hank Williams Sr band --i wanted to meet Hank Williams himself but one of the band guy took me to his room to talk(thats all we did) by the time i got back down to his bus it was time to go home...... I was so disappointed but at least 3 of my family members got to meet him....
FYI: Johnny Cash is one of my old time favorites!
