I recently came upoun the site http://www.trafficsecrets.com John Reese is charging $1,000 for: 8 DVDs, 6 CD-Roms, 3 Workbooks and 5 Startup Blueprints. I couldn't belive the price.. Anyone know if John Reese is a legit Marketing Guru? or any expereince with this product? Thanks
if he wrote a book called how to make the worlds longest 1 page web site I would buy it cause he obviously knows how to do that.
Basically copy the style of the one page super long websites and highlighting the right words and keep telling them the deal is only for 24 hours, etc... and now you have learned what they will teach you.
Wow, I am stuggling to view this website with DSL, if i had 56k i would cry. How much BS would someone go to sell some useless info for 1000$ geez
I have never known anyone who sold programs to make money who ever made money at doing anything other than selling people on how to make money.
Wow, I got about 1% through, he should pay us $1000.00 to read that. Including spaces there are 323,157 characters on that page, 56,938 words, 2,314 paragraphs and 8,147 lines.
Guh! I hate those type of sites! It's like the paper junk mail of the 90's. Unfortunately people who are not Internet savvy, yet want to jump onto the 'run an e-business' hype DO fall for these routines. I've noticed more software based sites are also using the format and it drives me nuts when I know they have a decent product....I'd never recommend them to anyone simple because I find that design format so unprofessional.
With that $1000 you can: 1.) Take multiple classes on marketing at your local community college 2.) Take quite a few independant courses, you can find out the best ones through your local chamber of commerce 3.) You can hire a marketing/PR company - $1000 typically can get me into around 4-8 magazines (really depends on a lot of factors) and a few newspaper inserts 4.) $1000 is fairly decent prize money (Not a lot but a decent amount) You could run a cool contest with it and get a lot of exposure. And the list goes on....... What I wouldn't do is give that site your money for a couple of CD's that rehash things like - Try putting flyers on peoples cars
Or just bet it all on Black... at least you have a 50-50 chance, and you will have more fun than having to listen to some dork on a bunch of CDs!
I ran across this: From the creator of "Traffic Secrets" comes the much anticipated "Pimping Secrets!" I haven't tried "Traffic Secrets" or "Pimping Secrets" so couldn't comment either way. But... as soon as this month's welfare check comes in I was thinking of buying "Who Else Wants to Be a Complete A**hole, Have No Friends & Make Absolutely No Money Online?" If you would like a copy too you can get it at: http://www.internetmarketingshithead.com/ I'd like to point out that as a peon to this group I haven't used my affiliate URL for either product. Regards, Steve MacLellan
If you're internet savvy enough to ask about it on a forum, you're probably internet savvy enough not to buy it and find out all you need from asking on forums and reading freely available information. Like almost everything in the world, you can put in time or money and the more of one you put in, the less of the other. Adding to yfs1' list: $1000 would get you a fully set up poker review website site from us, and you'd have enough money left over for a decent advertising campaign - and plenty of time to run it too
I agree with Cashmirrors....it's either put in the time or money. I've heard that John Reese does know his stuff...he's run many different types of online businesses and only in the last while has gotten into the "how to make money online" market. I don't think there's a thing in his course that you probably can't learn for free from somewhere else. Just may have to look in whole bunch of different places. Allen
