i know that you two are not the only ones that are misquoting him.
read what he said. he is talking about a single action that israel might take in the future not anything that israel has done or israel itself. but the rightwing nuts are trying to misquote him, care to guess why? they want to scare the jewish liberals from voting for democrats it didn't work with islamo-fascist and it is not going to work with this either. it is the end of the neocons. even in this administration they are losing cradibility

Are you assuming I didn't go back and read your copy/paste?

Work on a new strategy. I'd be flattered if you could debunk the facts I presented. It would be a nice feather in your hat, too ;)

Wouldn't you be the hero for quoting what he said and proving that he didn't say what he said? And even a bigger hero to correct all those sites that know what he said?

This is your calling pizzaman! Actions speak louder than words ;)

No I am assuming nothing, I am simply responding to the words you wrote down in this forum. And since you never disputed or commented what I posted I don't see any reason to think otherwise.

I agree that you cannot think, however, I clearly posted credible sources which clearly debunk your defense of Iran's leader calling for Jewish genocide.

The ball is in your court. If you cannot counter the truth, I understand. Maybe next time?

No ball and not in my court. It has been in your court the entire time and you don't even realize it.

See the simple fact is that the quote never mentions Israel by name, country or people. It also never uses the term "wipe off" or the term "map". But of course you knew that already right? Or you just taking what is fed to you for granted. Now show me again how it was NOT mis-quoted...

"Perhaps the greatest short-term threat to world peace, Edwards remarked, was the possibility that Israel would bomb Iran's nuclear facilities."

Thank you! So you confirm that Edwards believes Israel is the greatest short-term threat to world peace. See, it's not so hard!

Sure, my pleasure. I did so on the previous page and you even dismissed it through denial. But since you seem to have a short attention span, I'll post it again:

I have it bookmarked now, in case that short attention span returns.

Ball is still in your court!

Again you quote wikipedia. But I will allow you some time to find someone to translate the quote and show us all where

    Map
    The country of Israel
    wipe off

    are in the quote.

Indeed, I do. And it has sources that prove you are wrong. No doubt that you would simply dismiss it with denial.

No doubt you dismiss the others. Surprising you would dismiss al jazeera though. Seems like that would be a credible source for you ;)

This one is good too! You can almost take your pick about ahmadeenspunk's intentions:

Whew! Sounds like your boy is really just misunderstood and in fact, wants to send flowers and chocolates to Israel :D

Nobody says he wants to send flowers and chocolate to Israel. As Israel only wants to send nuclear weapons to them in an explosive state.

Again however you still do not grasp the fact of his words being mis-quoted in the media(we have not even gotten to the point of out of context yet). So either proove that this statement:

Imam ghoft een rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods bayad az safheh-ye ruzgar mahv shavad

    Includes:

    Map
    The country of Israel
    wiped off

Or admit that the quote "Israel must be wiped off the map" is actually a misquote.

***EDIT: Or more accurately a mis-translation.

Ah, by my last post, you were able to conclude that it is Israel who wants to send nuclear weapons and not Iran. That does wonders for your credibility! Some suggest Israel already has nuclear weapons. Yet Iran is still in place, despite Iran's persistent threats (as highlighted above).

Your true colors are beginning to show ;)

Because it is not fact. In fact, I have provided evidence to the contrary and additional material that confirms his intentions. There's no doubt he said it, there is no doubt what he meant, there is no doubt what subsequent statements he has said mean either.

Work on a new stragegy. Denial is too easily debunked.

You truly are daft. You have failed to prove that the quote was a mis-translation propagated through out western media like a virus of hate. You now admit that you have no intentions of trying to disprove anything to the contrary. Unbelievable.

Thank you! I'm honored that name calling is all that you have left. I'm equally flattered that you say I admit something that I have not. This testifies to your credibility.

I have provided overwhelming sources to conclude my position.

You have provide a quote, which when entered in it's entirety into google, returns basically the same article/information posted on leftist sites and those of islamic apologists:

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...+az+safheh-ye+ruzgar+mahv+shavad"&btnG=Search

To that, you have failed to convince me that Iran's president did not say what he actually said, and further have failed to convince me that his intentions in saying such do not match other threats, as highlighted above.

In summary, I'd rate your persistence a B, your presentation a D- and your source(s) an F. Better luck next time.

And you still have yet to prove that is is not a mis-translation.

I will have to give your blind devotion and A, and your circle argumentation a C+. However when it comes to answering a direct question, F. And when it comes to buying into your own governments propaganda campaigns A+ buddy.

You keep towing the line for the empire you so blindly are backing right now. And yes before you ask I have spent over half my life serving this country in the military and DOD. And yes I love this country, what it used to stand for and not what it has and is becoming. How much time have you spent in Iran, or how about the middle east in general? There is a whole other world outside your little google world and TV reality.
