Three popular blogs of today JohnChow.com, JohnCow.com, and ShoeMoney.com had success at same time. How?

Shoemoney has been a huge webmaster for quite some time now. Same with JC.

Shoemoney and John Chow both were webmasters for years....now John Cow originally created his site as a comedic parody of John Chow's.

1 spoon of good articles, 3 pieces of effective promotion, 5 drops of personal touch with photos of yourself and handful of luck...

I wouldn't really say johncow.com is that successful. He's a cheap knock off of Chow, and many don't come back. He gets a couple of thousand hits a day. You can do that!

Chow has been at it for over a year. Shoemoney over a couple of years.

Do it enough, with plenty of advertising, and let word of mouth set in, and it ain't that big of a deal.

Again, you can do the same thing.

So, get your ass out there and do it! :D

Catchy title to get people to come read your thread post. Kudos. But me wonders and wonders the link you provided, Tis yours possibly? Especially since it was your first post.

I do subsribe to Shoemoneys blog and read it about every other day. I read John Chows about once a week or so. Cow, well........

End of Sept., beginning of Oct. 2006 Chow put in his new design, and started marketing his blog and putting in ads.

It just goes to show everybody that it can be done, if you work it. But too many don't want to work it. Because it involves..."work"!

Damn, you're right. lol I missed that one.

"Exactly"? You just said he has been at it since the dotcom bubble. Eh, maybe I missed something. I am brain dead over here. :)~

No, I don't remember when he started making that much, or if it is even consitent. He still has a blog on his earnings, though. Right? I read it awhile back but had forgotten the details.

I said exactly because I was agreeing with your point about him placing ads last year.

no he posts his monthly earnings on his main site, and i've yet to see it drop below $10,000, he could of course be lying, he's a self obsessed sneaky bastard and it's the best marketing tool i've seen.

Yeah, I agree. And I'm pretty good at spotting the typical pile of steaming bullshit on a hot summer's day.

My apologies to those of you eating right now.

He may tell a little white lie now and then, but I believe him for the most part.

For the most part all you basically have to do is look at all of his ads, his rates, and do the math. Do that with any site.

Plus if he was a shit spinner, he would have said he got more hits than he said in his blog. Many lie their gonads off on how many hits they get.

A person(I would not tell the name) from Compete.com posted a comment there backing the reliability of their system.

Isn't it funny how different Alexa is to Compete? And ironically enough, it seems your little spike was because an article you wrote on the 7th of Nov about johncow.
