John Chow is fun to hang out with

Earlier this week John Chow blogged about how he was going to be in Seattle at a Blogger Meetup because he was going to already be in the area for business. I happen to work in Seattle so I stayed after at work and come to the Blogger meetup where John in fact, did show up.

Click here to read my full post on the experience.

One of the most valuable things that I learned is that it's important to meet up and network with other bloggers when the opportunities present themselves. I highly recommend you make an effort to do so that you can network and meet new people.

... Quite a bit more than "just a blogger", he doesn't JUST blog. Even though his blog makes an incredible amount of money.

That's great that you met up with him. Networking really is important.

    Wow, nice.

Kind of like a movie maniac meeting their favourite actor or actress, eh?

He's a wonderful webmaster. He's rich, he's like the Michael Jordan of this industry. Same with Shoemoney.

He takes his camera with him to take pictures of his sandwiches so he can blog about how bad the sandwhich was.
He doesn't give any advice about making money online that you can't find all over the net. Alot of his articles are pretty much a sales pitch to make more money for himself.
He's making money from it but I don't know how.

I'm gonna go eat a sandwhich, I'll post a thread here after I'm done and tell y'all about it.

Are you jealous about him or something? His blog is called "John chow.com" for a reason. It's a personal blog / webmaster blog. He blogs about whatever the hell he feels like it. He does blog about making money too - learn to read the rest of his categories.

    lol to that.

But I had asked him if anyone ever recognized him just on the street for his blog but he said not really. The only time people recognize him is at various conventions.

But I suppose we're all kind of in a niche market eh? :D

And that is John Chow summed up in a nutshell. He should rename his blog to "Stuff I Take Photos of Before I Eat"
