Yep.. you sure are Your speedo only says 77mph and you've only travelled 200 miles.. that has geek written all over it.
Reading this thread has stolen 10 minutes of my life I will never get back heh Joey the least you could do is tell me what car that speedo in your avatar is from - not a Mark VII I'm guessing since it only shows upwards of 90mph - mine displays 140 so I'm pretty certain thats standard for Mark VII speedos. P.S. any idea how fast I'm going when the speedo is pegged at 140 for several minutes
thats actually a stock avatar I got somewhere -- and I have a Lincoln Mark VIII -- and if you find out how fast, let me know. Ive always wondered that when I bury mine.
How or why..? Why - becasue its better than the garbage being tossed at you earlier Michelin XSE MXV4 Plus 225/60 R16 (although I think we had different tires on it before) - A winding guardrail hugging armrest gripping trip down a fairly smooth Interstate 17 from Flaggstaff to Phoenix CAN be accomlished in a little over an hour - although most sane Arizonans will give you an estimate of 2 - 2.5hrs. Of course this was determined when I was younger, stupider, and when the car was in better shape. Today it's lucky to make it home from work with out overheating - wonder if that has anything to do with the way she was treated on those daily trips..?
heh. Joey, am I correct in assuming that it not you on the hood of the 5.0? I figured you more for a "rag top down so my hair can blow" kinda guy. If you guys want to bring the Lincoln's out west, I am sure we can get some time on the big track at Willow Springs where 140mph is common on the front straight. That is, if you have the power.
lol, good afternoon read. Just as an FYI I've dealt with Joey many times and found him to be nothing but honest and upstanding - including my dealings with him in link exchanges. Back off topic....
