lol you don't need ebooks to make money with Adsense
Ebooks are a great way to make money .... for their writers

Actually, it's not an ebook. I got myself a used copy and I would say that it is not bad actually. Some ideas are new, some are the usual concepts. It is more of a book that caters to people new to Adsense.

I've also heard good stuff about the book, though I'd never believe it or buy the book.

The book is good and you can learn a lot from it.
If you use the advice from the book you will
probably never get banned. Only, I'm not sure if
    everything is up to date.

The only way to know that, is by consulting the
Google Adsense help-pages on a regular basis.
That's what you should do, keep yourself updated
about Google's policies. And to be honest, if you
go there you can find everything you need to
know in order to earn revenue from Adsense.

What bothers me, is that some so-called gurus
send out newsletters with 'killer' tips that could
get you banned! That's probably because
they don't update their follow up messages. As
long as the money keeps flowing in....

There's nothing wrong with following their advice,
but always double-check if something is allowed
or not, by consulting the Google Adsense help
    pages.

I have a copy and agree with ORin. If you've read a lot here on digitalpoint the book won't give you much new information.

But it could probably give you an organized view of it all, rather then loads of random information here at DP. Thats what a lot of people need.

Well said, there's truckloads of FREE information available on the internet, but the more information the more confusing it gets.

People are not always honest about their earnings either. If you start to follow those who try to get your attention instead of those who have good intention, who's going to tell you? I've seen many well known marketers show their earnings from end of november 2006. Where are their recent earnings?

Your stats, and the checks you get from Google Adsense will tell you. Unfortunately it will take a lot of time to know if you've done the right thing.

I've read some of Joel Comm's other stuff, and it's not bad but offers very little new information to those who use DP daily. I felt kind of bad for him when he released his Instant Adsense Templates package a few weeks before Google decided images next to ads were a no-go. 90% of that package became useless overnight.

I'm pretty sure that didn't have him eating beans and rice. The book does have good info for newbs that don't want to spend a month or so learning the basic info from forums and the internet. If you know anything at all about how adsense works, you really don't need it. Besides, all information is free on the internet, you just have to know where to look.

I just got into adsense in the past week, i have applied recomended techniques from the book and i am already seing results,

Im sure with time and traffic growth to my sites will bring stronger profits.

Although for you folks that seem to know alot about this it may not to be helpful, for us little guys just getting onto the adsense bandwagon it is very useful

Anyone getting into adsense that wants to get off to a good start i would recommend purchasing the book

Don't buy and read ebooks, read forums and DO! Implement the techniques you read about on forums, learn from other peoples mistakes etc.

Is this a physical book? I'd never buy an actual book to do with internet marketing or making money, by the time it was published and in stores huge chunks of it would be out of date already.

it's a download ebook - how to figure out the whole adsense game - ad positioning, stuff like that. You won't ever see it on the shelves of your local library, that's for sure.
