Does anyone use or make money with Joel Comm's adsense templates. I think he is just taking people to the cleaners.

    Digitalpoint please post your opinions.

I know a few who have tried it. They chuckled, quickly cancelled any membership and learned a lesson.

I'm sure there are people making money with the templates. But it is probably important that you fill the templates with good quality unique information rather than the rubbish articles that are also on 4,000 other sites. You can head to his personal forum to ask people who have bought the package yourself: http://www.adsensechat.com

Please understand that I personally haven't bought this package - this is just a wild guess on what I have previously seen of this package. That said I have bought some of his other products and they were good value.

    Thanks for the tips...
I have bought one package like this before, and learned valuable lesson from it.

Valuable site must have it's own unique contents.

I'm wondering the same thing. What's the content like? How many people are already using them? Are they really about subjects people even care about? ...and on and on. :) I just don't know that they're even worth spending time on.

    Reprobate, how much money?

Warning flag is he spends WAY too much time hawking his ebooks and not enough time on adsense... if he makes so much with adsense why does he need to sell ebooks?

Also, the template thing sucks... nobody like made for adsense sites. I bought one of his books and it was LOADED with ads for him trying to sell his other stuff. Once you buy one product from him you will be spammed for life.

He is a genuine internet marketer there is no doubt about that - but can you hate a guy for trying to make money. The vast majority of people are trying to the exact same thing (he is just better at it) and it's not like he is scamming people. If I was in his position I'd be doing the exact same thing!

The content that comes with a package like this I'd imagine is next to useless - not because the articles aren't informative or anything like that. It's just that they will have been spammed all over the internet by now.

Hi All.. I guess no press is bad press, huh?

The PLR articles that come with the templates are not the focal point of the product. In fact, I didn't want to include them at all, but I felt it important to include 5 articles with each template to provide a starting point for people who really don't know how content is supposed to be placed on the page. Time and again, I tell people that you can not just take the templates as-is, put them up, and expect them to make money. On the contrary, I emphasize the important of creating your own content to make your site truly useful. The concept of Instant AdSense Templates is that the layout and design work is done, but there are plenty of ways to customize your graphics since we provide the .psd files. All the training material emphasizes original quality content as the way to build AdSense revenue-generating sites.

As far as customer satisfaction, our retention rate is excellent and return rate is low. It's a pretty comprehensive package and I am proud of it.

For the record, I never spam. If you are a customer and want off my list, it's very easy to unsubscribe.

    Best regards,

    Joel

One guy said he hit $73 in one day.

Mind you I do spend a lot of time at Joel's forum.

On the other hand I didn't buy the Instant Adsense Templates. Nor would I if it were offered again.

While they're not my cup of tea they certainly do help other people. It's not a scam by any means.

By saying "if he makes so much with adsense why does he need to sell ebooks?" it would be great if that applied to EVERYONE that's making a lot of money. And when I say a LOT of money I'm talking about bigger fish than Joel Comm.

People who make a lot of money want plenty more of it. Whether it be Donald Trump or Rupert Murdoch.

You can unsubscribe from his or any other legitimate internet marketer's mailing list. They have the instructions on each of their emails.

I bought Joel's book The Adsense Code. $15 from Amazon. Best $15 I spent in a long while. I recommend it to newbies all the time. Mind you I don't recommend (nor do I disparage) his Instant Adsense Templates. Because I don't use them, or find a need for me to use them.

I think the biggest things people forget is that there are actually people out there that get a warm fuzzy feeling from knowing they have helped someone, and I imagine Joel is no exception.

I mean put yourself in his situation - Imagine you are pulling in an easy $30,000/month, now I'm going to be ballsy enough to say that the vast majority of that income is pretty passive as in he doesn't have a great deal of maintenance he NEEDS to do, so if he only want to invest maybe 2 or 3 hours a day to maintain things he could and he'd still be earning an easy $30,000/month.

That is A LOT of money - more than the average human being needs. Somehow I get the feeling when you get into a position like that it has required you to be somewhat selfish with your time - as in you have had to work hard to get where you are an no doubt there has been scrafice and you have neglected some other important areas of your life so when you get to a position of financial freedom AND being time abundant I can imagine you mind would start looking to find ways to contribute back to society, and I mean some get a foster child or donate to charity to get their warm fuzzy feeling - but that to a large degree is just giving some less fortunate person a fish, you're not really increasing their ability to fish for themselves, if you know what I mean.

So I can imagine that writing could be quite a profound way to contribute back to people and make your difference in the world. The thing is for 99% of who haven't made it yet we are unable to appreciate being in a position where life is more than just about us... ;).

Who knows maybe all the proceeds go to a charity anyway...
